It's up and running. Thank God! Overall, I wish I had a cheaper one, but hey, it is what it is. This is me being extra on extras, but yeah, it was great. I like the phone. They needed a lot of fun with it. I'll shop here again for sure on next one.

Still working out how to use the device but overall pretty good. Did come with a couple of scratches but for the price it was worth it. Thank you.

Really nice phone in great condition! Shipping very fast - was it coincidence that phone is in the same state?!?! Also pleased that it is an actual dual sim phone since not crazy about eSims. It would have been if it were, but just not at all disappointed that it is not.

The phone I received was packaged very well, shipped quickly, and arrived undamaged. The parcel contained just the phone and a generic charger, no manufacturer packaging. This was what I expected since it was refurbished. The phone was in excellent condition, as described. The phone functions well with both SIM cards, and the screen and battery seem to be in near perfect condition. Overall great experience, would buy again.

After my OnePlus Open was stolen in Mexico, I thought I'd have to pony up $1600 for a new one. I found RefurbLane and saw that they had one left in top condition so I took a chance and ordered it. I was then worried the condition of the phone wouldn't be as advertised. Boy was I wrong! The phone was in MINT condition and looked like it had never been used. Great service and exceeded my expectations!

This is the third foldable phone I've bought from RefurbLane, previously was 2x Z Fold 3s. This OPO came in a bubble wrapped mailer nested safely in another bubble mailer. I feel like previous purchases did not require a signature, however a direct signature was required for this package and I ended up having to redirect it to a delivery location in a Walgreens to pick up after work. It did not come with the original 88W charger nor the case that comes with new OPOs, but it did include a 3ft USBC to USBC cable. The inner screen has the tiniest imperfection on the edge, not affecting or even close to the pixels/actual display. Otherwise the inner screen is perfect, not even dents which these phones are prone to. The outer screen has a couple deep scratches. I only noticed the scratches when my fingers brush over it and when the screen is off - I would personally not have called the screen "flawless" but not a big deal, certainly not bothersome enough to return. Surprisingly the metal frame was flawless, not even a scuff. $800 for a OPO that feels basically new, I can't really complain. As far as the phone itself, jeez. Crazy amazing hardware, the crease is visually absent (Even lightly touching the screen across the crease you don't feel it), the cameras are amazing and you can zoom in 120x lol, the face unlock is faster than on the Samsung fold, it's razer thin, light, huge outer screen, beautiful piece of tech, etc etc. The software feels rougher, multitasking has some quirky differences that make it less useful than Samsung but I'll adapt to them. Like cool, I can have 3 full size apps with canvas but when I zoom out to view all three, it maintains their aspect ratios instead of stretching to fill the screen, so it ends up wasting a ton of screen real estate, a sin that Samsung would never commit. I love foldables, but I'm not sure I can recommend this particular foldable. As always though, I do recommend RefurbLane 👉

The OnePlus Open is OnePlus’s first venture into the foldable phone world, released in October 2023. Though less than a year old, it brings a practical take on foldable smartphones—more multitasking, less future gadget hype. Boasting a nearly crease-free main display, capable chipset, and robust camera system, the OnePlus Open lands between traditional flagships and tech’s wild side.

Key features:

Release Date: October 2023
Display: 7.82-inch AMOLED main display (QXGA+ resolution, 120Hz) & 6.31-inch AMOLED cover display (2484 x 1116 px, 120Hz)
Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
Camera: Triple rear system: 48MP main (Sony LYT-T808), 64MP telephoto, and 48MP ultra-wide with Hasselblad color calibration
Operating System: Ships with OxygenOS 13.2 (based on Android 13)
Build: Aluminum hinge, Gorilla Glass cover, and a lightweight body for a foldable
Connectivity: 5G ready, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C

Who is this for?

The OnePlus Open is built for early adopters ready to ditch the “glass slab” routine for something more flexible. If you’re a productivity multitasker, creative pro, or simply want to experiment with foldables without surrendering performance, this device checks those boxes. Unlike some other foldables that feel experimental, the Open leans on OnePlus’s signature snappy software and practical design, making it more approachable for work and everyday use than the Galaxy Z Fold5 or Pixel Fold.

Pros & Cons: Pros Cons Large, crease-reduced main display for multitasking and content consumption. No official IP rating for water resistance—treat with care around liquids. Solid camera trio with Hasselblad partnership—rare for foldables. Bulkier than most bar phones when folded, not the slimmest pocket fit. Runs OxygenOS 13.2 with practical multitasking features. Foldable screens remain more fragile than classic glass panels.
