Galaxy Xcover Pro • Locked Verizon

Phone came in excellent condition, but the phone was still signed into the previous owners accounts, their email and contacts and everything were still there. So we did the factory update ourselves with no issue, but to the wrong person that could have been a severe security breach.

First off, you get what you pay for. If I bought this brand new for 300 I would not be pleased, but for 80 bucks it's a great deal imo(I primarily play rs3), Largely wish it had better battery life. With that said there a couple things I wish I knew prior to buying refurbished.( This was my knowledge gap I do not place blame on anybody else, I just wish to forworn others) 1.before you put in your sim card do all the updates over wifi, or if wifi is not available have a spare sim card, or do it in the parking lot of your carrier. After a few updates my phone couldn't read my sim card but verizon gave me a new sim card and all is well. 2.prior to 2019 verizon locked meant you could use a straight talk sim card, because they had sim card kits of major carriers. That is no longer the case! I had to switch my carrier to verizon to use this phone. 3. Back to the battery life. Doing some research I found out that a refurbished phone could be at 85% capacity and still be considered acceptable. Luckily this has removable battery I might buy a new battery to see if that improves my battery life.
