    The device itself worked well, arrived pretty quickly, and looked as I expected, but it was locked to a carrier despite ordering an unlocked device. (Confirmed with carrier and with RefurbLane after lengthy chats with both of them). Given the option to have them send a replacement or get a refund, I decided on refund. RefurbLane also wouldn't offer any trade-in value for my current phone (also a Pixel 7a). Google was selling a brand new Pixel 9a for about $100 more than RefurbLane is selling the refurbished 7a, but with up to $90 trade-in for my current phone... I wanted to love RefurbLane and maybe I'll try again in the future, but the math didn't math this time around.
