So far so good! With the exception of me dropping it the day after I got it. 🥺The face is really messed up. No fault of RefurbLane or it's techs. The phone has still proven to be a reliable good phone. I'm very happy with my purchase and cannot imagine going anywhere else in the future. RefurbLane should have promotional task like referrals for existing customers to get new customers on board. With or without the promotions it is a wonderful common sense company. You do not see integrity, value , and quality these days with companies , especially online..But for sure someone very smart and someone I would take seriously has wisely recruited the " best of the best" phone repairmen (techs) with pride and respect for their work that do just as good of a job repairing phones, and executes all of it very quickly just good as RefurbLane does their job. It's a very well oiled machine and I for one am grateful. Finally

Very happy with order, this is my second purchase, my teenagers love the phone and stylus works great for their drawings. Shipping was fast and phones were in great shape. I'll be getting another one for my granddaughter.

I had to pay to get the Google account from the previous owner removed before I could use the phone. After I did that, everything was fine.

When the phone arrived and opened packaging, was surprised. I thought I had ordered moto g 5g but I received a moto g stylus 5g. Previous phone had the stylus. Stylus is very fragile, was not always retrievable, easy to misplace and ultimately fell apart. It's benefits I considered like the bells n whistles on a refrigerator. Fine. Possible I misread given the sheer # of phones. I'll own this one. Wanted unlocked. But attempts to hook up with T-Mobile (previous carrier) was disappointing. In the about section was the word Tracfone. And the conflicts haven't stopped since. If purchasing an unlocked phone may not open doors like you would. Advertising and selling a product that does not perform as expected is....lazy approached to preparing the customer what they and will experience. If what I hear is true, choosing unlocked over locked or vice versa is a discussion about have bought a phone properly set-up to work as it is advertised and or purchase a locked phone, implying the customer is going back to their old carrier.

2023Release Year

The Motorola Moto G Stylus (2023) brings a practical blend of creativity and utility for users who need a stylus but aren’t chasing flagship specs. Released in May 2023, this model is now a year old, but its user-friendly features and integrated stylus still set it apart from most other mid-range Android phones on the market.

Key features:

Release Date: May 2023
Display: 6.5-inch IPS LCD, HD+ (1600 x 720 px), 90Hz refresh rate
Processor: MediaTek Helio G85
Camera: 50MP main + 2MP macro dual-camera system
Connectivity: 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5)
Stylus: Built-in stylus for note-taking, sketching, and editing
Operating System: Ships with Android 13
Audio: 3.5mm headphone jack and single bottom-firing speaker

Who is this for?

The Motorola Moto G Stylus (2023) is designed for students, professionals, and creative users who want on-the-go sketching or easy note-taking—without the price tag or feature bloat of higher-end devices. It’s especially handy if you’re looking for a straightforward Android experience, a stylus, and the comfort of a headphone jack. If you need next-level performance or advanced cameras, you might want to look upmarket—like at the Motorola Edge or Samsung Galaxy S series—but for everyday productivity, the Moto G Stylus (2023) holds its own.

Pros & Cons: Pros Cons Integrated stylus for jotting, annotating, or doodling. HD+ screen resolution can look less crisp than FHD displays. Smooth 90Hz refresh rate for fluid interactions. No 5G support—limited to 4G LTE. Clean Android 13 experience with minimal bloatware. Mid-range processor struggles with intensive games or heavy multitasking. 3.5mm headphone jack (yes, they kept it around). Camera lacks ultra-wide or telephoto options.
Why refurbished?

Choosing a refurbished Motorola Moto G Stylus (2023) means less waste, same performance. Every pre-owned device from RefurbLane is expertly tested and refreshed for dependability—helping you stay creative while treading a little lighter on the planet. Learn more about our quality standards.
