I wanted to give the Switch a try, finding this one lowered the entry barrier for me significantly. It arrived at the expected condition and works great, so it's a first great experience from RefurbLane after having several fiascos from Amazon Renewed. 100% recommended.

Finally found it. This was my first time buying from RefurbLane and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d been searching for this specific console for a while and when I found it here I jumped on it. Came in perfect condition — no scratches, no issues, works exactly like it should. Feel so lucky. If you’re hesitant about buying refurbished, this experience would change your mind. Highly recommend.

The first one I received didn’t work. I contacted RefurbLane and they were so nice. They sent me a return label and replaced the broken one right away. It works perfectly! I am very happy with the service I received. They kept in constant contact with me so I know what was happening every step of the way. I’m a RefurbLane customer for life now.

This is my 3rd purchase with RefurbLane and honestly, they never miss. The switch actually came in great condition despite it being labeled as "good" only. My son loves his gift and I'll forever be a customer.

The only reason I'm giving this a 4 instead of a 5 is because there were no disclosures about specific signs of wear. While the Switch 2 is in excellent condition overall, there are two small pits in the center of the screen. They are mostly negligible once you move through gameplay and menus, but every now and again I can see the two pits and it's a little annoying that it wasn't disclosed in the listing. This is both a seller and RefurbLane issue where additional, much appreciated, information about the item needs to be clearly stated in a dedicated item description section so buyers have a better idea of what they're purchasing rather than trusting the general "excellent" label.

My PS5 was received as advertised in excellent condition. There was a small issue with the HDMI cable but the RefurbLane folks were right on top of it! This is my 2nd purchase & I've been highly satisfied both times. I highly recommend RefurbLane when you want to save money & have confidence in your purchase.

What is a refurbished console?

A refurbished gaming console is a pre-owned Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo device that has been restored to its original condition and performance by professionals. At RefurbLane, we handpick each and every one of the sellers on our platform to make sure you're getting the best refurbished gaming system available. The refurbishment process typically involves rigorous testing, cleaning, and repairs, so that the console meets the same standards as a brand new device. So when you buy refurbished you're basically getting a new gaming device at a discounted price.

Game Console Buying Guides

Gaming console warranty and return policy

All gaming console purchases on RefurbLane come with free standard shipping, a 1-year warranty, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. We want to make sure you can shop with confidence and find the best console for your needs at lower prices.

What to expect from your refurbished game system

If you're buying a reconditioned video game console for the first time, you might not be sure what to expect from your purchase. First, understand that your console may have cosmetic flaws depending on the condition you choose (RefurbLane offers devices of Fair, Good and Excellent quality). However, whatever the condition, it's important to know that any external blemishes will not affect game performance and you can expect your device to perform as if it were newly opened. You should also be confident that your device is backed by a 1-year warranty, meaning in the rare case that any defects arise (outside of accidental damage) within 12 months of your delivery date, then you're entitled to your choice of a repair, replacement or reimbursement.

Gaming Console Trade In

If you already have a gaming system that you're looking to replace, consider trading it into RefurbLane to give you a little extra budget for your next console upgrade. We make the process simple for you and we'll give you a free online quote when you answer a few easy questions about your current system.
