I was little skeptical at first but decided to roll the dice and buy the refurbished display in “good” condition. I received the monitor and it was very tightly and carefully packaged (ships without Apple’s packaging — to be expected, it’s refurbished). The glass screen looks brand new, perhaps that’s part of the refurbish process. No scratches, chips, or dead pixels. Even though the monitor is a few years old (not sure what year it was manufactured) it looks almost as crisp as the Retina display on my MacBook. The stand has two minor scratches that you can only see when looking closely from a foot away. $375 for a monitor that was originally $1,100 is a steal. You will need a Thunder Bolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunder Bolt 2 adaptor to plug to monitor into a newer MacBook Air/Pro. Best to bite the bullet and buy a genuine Apple adaptor ($44) rather than a third-party adaptor as the non-Apple adaptors apparently can cause flickering and other weird issues with the display. Overall, the display is a highly recommended purchase from this initially skeptical buyer.

I bought a "Stallone" version expecting that the screen would be fine but the body and stand might be a mess. Was so pleasantly surprised to fin only three small scuff marks. One on the back enclosure and two on the stand. All three look like normal wear and tear. If that's the norm for "Stallone" ratings, then I will never have a concern buying a product from RefurbLane. Another happy surprise was the delivery. I ordered on a Friday and was told to expect it the following Friday or the Monday after that. It showed up at my door in 3 days!! As for the product itself - it works flawlessly. A word of warning, though, to those considering buying one of these monitors. The on board combo Thunderbolt/power cables are terribly unreliable. The power cable tends not to work and the Thunderbolt cable causes screen flickering. Which was the case with this unit. It helps to be prepared in advance and have a separate Thunderbolt cable available and use it to attach your computer directly to the monitor's extra Thunderbolt port. Works like a charm! Otherwise, the screen is large, stunningly crisp and I was able to calibrate it with my MacBook Pro in minutes. I am so happy to have purchased this monitor!

The monitor is perfect - cosmetic scratches on the stand only. The monitor glass itself is immaculate and all the USB ports work, the camera works. Shipped out within 12 hours of my purchase, well packaged. Great value for a great monitor.

I ordered the Stallone level of quality based on other people’s positive reviews and I was not disappointed. Minor scratches on the body and stand that in no way affect the performance. Screen is clean and bright with only 7 dead pixels in the upper left quadrant. After working for 3 months exclusively on a (2011) 15 inch MacBook Pro, adding this monitor has made my life working from home exponentially better. I LOVE IT! The monitor arrived on time and well protected in its box. Thank you, RefurbLane, for offering an affordable and quality option for improving my work space.

I ordered the Thunderbolt Display Monitor in excellent condition, and it arrived as nice as I had hoped. Working beautifully and is just what I wanted. The screen is great, and as a creative employee/video editor, that's super important. It was well packaged, and arrived several days earlier than expected, too. The only issue I encountered was that they forgot to send me the power cord, but when I reached out about it, they responded promptly and immediately shipped it to me - so I'm very happy with the customer service as well. Great experience, and I'm really glad that I went with a refurbished product rather than something new.

Ordered 2 monitors of the highest quality option from Omaha Blue for like $250 each. You will need a power cord for each monitor so feel free to order one from eg Amazon before your monitor arrives. Omaha Blue shipping was incredibly fast - I think I got the 2 monitors (each in its own box) in 3 days. Amazing condition, no flaws on the screen, super minor scratches on the shell. So very pleased! RefurbLane asks you to let them know in 3 days of receipt whether the monitor is working - another reason to order that power cord ahead of time.
